I could not resist buying these beads despite their price. They are resin. In case you wonder what resin beads are, here is a brief explanation: It can be the hydrocarbon secretion of many plants, these are such as rosin, shellac, damar, copal, but their are a multitude of synthetic ones; phenolics, acrylics, alkyds and plastics in general. These vary in structure from soft to hard brittle, depending on their molecular weight.
To show off these special beads at their best, I put on them Antique Silver Plated Bead Cups and knotted them on three ribbons: light yellow, dark yellow and cherise. There is a lobster clasp at the back and an extension chain to adjust the length of the necklace. Eur 30 SOLD
