Turquoise is an opaque Gemstone that has been
prized all over the world for thousands of years with some of the oldest
examples being those featured in ancient Egyptian tombs dating back to
3000BC. It has been esteemed as a bringer of good fortune for centuries.
Completely natural Turquoise is very rare, and in fact, only 3% of all Turquoise worldwide has not been treated in some way.
These stones are carved from Howlite, which has
been dyed beautiful, vibrant colours; the naturally occurring black
veins in Howlite, give the appearance of natural Turquoise without the
price tag.
Howlite is known traditionally as a calming stone,
and is said to calm anxiety and tension as well as to strengthen teeth
and bones.
This is a small introduction to this bracelet which was made as per my customer's request. The bracelet is made with memory wire and its size is destined for a child. SOLD
